A sneak-a-peak at A Black House…
‘A Black House, A Coloured Home’, the second full-length album by We vs. Death will be released the 11th of April in Tivoli de Helling. Crazy rumours are spreading that these instrumental post-rockers actually started singing. Can it be true?!
Come and listen to two exclusive preview tracks.![]()
‘A Black House …’ is turning out to be a cd wich brings along multiple surprises. It’s shorter and louder than it’s predecessor. The songs are presented with sense of simplicity and a more mature attitude. And yes, there are some vocals present. Drummer Gerben has stepped up to the plate and has laid down some vocals in a couple of songs. The rest of the band has proven themselves to be quite the choir boys as they deliver crispy clear and consistent backing vocals.
‘A Black House, A Coloured Home’ was recorded in their self-built studio within fifteen days and fourteen nights and will be released the 11th of April 2009. More info on that later, but we can reveal the band will bring along a group of musical and artyfarty friends. When you come along the 11th of april, it’s quite likely you’ll run into one of these people sooner or later: Toktek, Jelle Buma, and I am Oak.
We’re gonna leave you guessing about the artwork for a couple of more days, but don’t expect your traditional dualcase or digipack. Good stuff is coming your way!
