The Black Atlantic is the Groningen (Holland) based pop outfit formed around singer and songwriter Geert van der Velde, former frontman for melodic metal-core stalwarts Shai Hulud. After releasing two mini albums The Black Atlantic recently returned from their near-finished ‘in a cabin with’ recording session with eleven new tracks. During the recording proces Megan Hoffman and Kim Janssen (also known for his solo efforts) joined the permanent line-up.
