looking back at: Our Livingroom 02-10-08
A jampacked livingroom, shady lighting, three great bands slamming their acoustic guitars and a satisfied crowd indulging in cheap beer and expensive cigarettes. Yes sir, our first Beep! Beep! Livingroomshow was a succes.
As you could’ve read here before, Kismet joined the line-up with their freshly constructed acoustic set. It turned out to be a nice change of their regular set, and until they release their debutalbum ‘Hiatus’ you’ll be able to see them perform acoustic a few more times. But more on that later.
Next in line was Cedarwell, who is travelling with his brother across the globe a long long way from their home Wisconsin. This guy really got the crowd going and the fact that almost ten percent of the crowd left with one of his albums says it all I guess.
Rue Royale had the honours of closing up. This lovely, talented couple is a treat to behold and the word is they’ll be coming back over to our little country this january. Make a mental note.
As it should be in a livingroom the whole scene was dimly lit to create that cousy feeling we’re all looking for these days, but unfortunately also results in some pretty shabby video quality. Your ears won’t mind though. Next time, I promise, I’ll pull out the old spotlights. For now, enjoy the videos.
