Ons Kent Ons Pictures

Our party last Saturday was great, awesome, and then some. A big shout out (yes, we do shout outs here) to all the bands who put on kick-ass shows without exception, all the crew who helped us out (Temy, Tim, Marten, all the Oudenoorders!) and of course all the drunken bastards who showed up. Here’s some pictures to enjoy. All taken by the all mighty Anneke Hymmen.

Well What do you know?!

First of all. We moved in to our new office this week. It’s just as high as it is wide. It has a tiny window, but it’s still amazingly sunny. Check it out!

presents

Behold My Puny Bears, Vol. II

This turned out to be a pretty damn special package for a number of reasons. Let us break it down for you.

1. We go: “It’s completely free!” Then you go: “Yeah, what else is new? All your tunes are up as free downloads.” “No son, we’re talking the actual CD here. When you order something in our shop for 10 euro’s or more, we’ll include this label compilation for zero euro’s.” Then you say: “O No, you didn’t!!”. “Well we did. And if you’re broke, or just really cheap, but still want to own pure coolness, you can order the cd separate for 3 euro’s.

2. Every cover is completely unique. The front and back of the package are actual photographs (containing tasteful male nudity). We made tons of pictures and handmade sets for each album. We could say ‘collect them all’ but that would cost you 500 × 3 euro’s. Ah, what the hell: ‘Collect Them All!!

3. The music on this lil’ silver shiny disc turned out to be not too crappy at all! It’s a nice way to get to know our artists (and then some more). Loyal listeners will recognize most of the songs, but there’s some brand new stuff on there too. Check out the playlist:

The Walt on Gonzo Compilation

Gonzo Circus Magazine presents it’s second compilation album, compiled with the help of our friends at Simuze. There seems to be plenty of talent walking the smooth earth of Holland, being that the circus choose to publish not one but two cd’s for this comp. It’s available at track13 for only 8 bucks, including a copy of the magazine, issue #92.
The male models of music a.k.a. The Walt are one of the lucky boys to be heard on the album. Hooray!

Toch jammer.

“Het bootfestival dat de Utrechtse band Stairs To Nowhere op een binnenvaartschip aan de Muntkade te Utrecht had gepland, is op last van de verzekering afgelast. Op het festival, dat werd aangekondigd als besloten feest, zouden behalve Stairs To Nowhere ook The Walt en The Exploding Sheltand Ponies spelen.”

De rest lees je hier. Kunnen wij die avond wat anders gaan doen.
