With My’s voice recovered and sounding like never before the ladies of the wild wild north are now set to hit the road again. But not by themselves, no sir. The ladies will be accompanied by the just as wild ‘Tangerine Twins’ from the Netherlands. All of this, just before the release of their latest effort ‘Wild & You’. I would go out there if I was you. You might get hold of that little gem before it hits the stores on October 7th! For now we’ll leave you with this goaty video!

We are more then proud to announce that Moon & Sun will play this years edition of Fusion Festival. Doesn’t ring a bell? Fusion is one of the most amazing festivals in Europe. It takes place from June 30 until July 3rd in Larz, Germany. Just above Berlin. Unfortunately the Festival sold out on December 3rd, but if you belong to the lucky 55.000 who managed to get a ticket, make sure to check Moon & Sun! We’ll see you there.

The tour diary of The Black Atlantic in China is almost done. Perfect an edit here, fix some sound issues there, throw in some subtitles, you know the drill. We’ve seen a preview of the film and man(!) does it look beautiful. Worth the wait for sure.

Speaking of beautiful things. We already showed you the first video session the guys of dabaoge.net did (this one). Now, the DaBaoge-guys released the second song they recorded in the mighty city of Shanghai, and we can’t keep this lil’ gem from you.

Boy-o-boy-o-boy!! Are we excited. We’ve signed a brand new artist to our label and yes, it’s another special one. It’s dark, gloomy, atmospheric with a hint of Caribean sun. It’s funky fresh, primitive, electronic and manipulated. It’s Moon & Sun!

Driving force behind Moon & Sun is Swedish expressive artist Monica Tormell, who got inspired for her dark, tropical percussion driven songs two years ago on the island of Curacao. She calls her musical style ‘Apocalypso’, also the title of the 2009 debut 7inch.

We are extremely proud to release the follow-up record ‘The Wild Things’ on November 12th. The album was written and recorded in Curacao, in Swedish forests and in Amsterdam. “It’s a journey through landscapes, changing from beautiful picture views into ghostly midnight lands, a place where reality, imagination and time blur together”, says Tormell.

We’ll give you all the details on the album and release show in a little while. First, dive into the world of Moon & Sun and listen to the first single:

A while ago we stumbled upon this video of a dancer doing an improv on the track ‘Fragile Meadow’ by The Black Atlantic. We got in touch and when we found out the girl happened to live in Toronto and we were going there for the NXNE Festival we had to meet. This video is the end result of a day well spend in the beautiful city of Toronto. A very special thank you is in order for Tessa who choreographed an awesome, awesome dance for us.
