The Black Atlantic - Reverence for Fallen Trees.

As of today you’ll be able to download the complete album, plus you can pre-order the very beautiful cd or the deluxe vinyl edition!

Reverence for Fallen Trees
After touring internationally for two years without a full-length in their pockets, The Black Atlantic entered the international recording project ‘In A Cabin With‘ late 2008. They travelled all the way to Saranac Lake (NY) in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains to lock themselves up and start recording their debut (some vids of this special trip here).

Some special guests on ‘Reverence for Fallen Trees’ are the Brooklyn based The Antlers and Kim Janssen who joined the band a little before recording started.

Presentation & Tour
The album will be presented at the Noorderzon Festival in Groningen, the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of august. We’ll be hosting the official release party (CD + LP) the 25th of september in our favourite club dB’s. The Black Atlantic will be touring The Netherlands with old friends Rue Royale (31 aug - 9 sept) and crossing Europe as opener for Windmill 22 sept - 18 okt.

Pre-order
As mentioned the album will be officially presented the 25th of september, but if you want to be the first to own a hardcopy of the record you can already pre-order the CD or the 12″VINYL. We expect to start shipping in 2-3 weeks.

    I loved this album, it reminds me of Sigur Ros, but is more harmoniously blended and acoustically rich, a real delight for the ears. It’s playing right now, thank you so much for such a beautiful musical treasure.
